Green Valley Volunteers Went to Communities, to Care for the Elderly and Safeguard Their Memories.
Despite memories that fade away, we are still eager to show you the boundlessly beautiful world. Green Valley volunteers went to the communities to make kaleidoscopes together with elderly people suffering from dementia. They also organized the patients’ family members so that they could attend lectures on the giving of professional care. We believe that our efforts will be our legacy.
Joining Hands with Multiple Parties to Facilitate the Building of a Dementia-friendly World
At the "Shanghai Practice Seminar on Building Dementia-Friendly Communities," we worked together with government institutions, industrial associations, social organizations, enterprises, colleges, and universities that focus on the building of friendly communities for cognitive impairment patients. We did this in order to share practical experience with each other, promote research and cooperation among partners, and offer the Shanghai experience to the World Health Organization to develop a global tool kit for building friendly communities for cognitive impairment patients.
