The meeting began with Ge Junbo, academician and editor-in-chief of Circulation Chinese Edition, delivering the first speech. Mr. Ge stated that journals serve the purpose of knowledge sharing, and Circulation Chinese Edition serves the purpose of sharing knowledge from Circulation with Chinese doctors, especially primary care doctors. Mr. Ge acknowledged and appreciated the editorial board for their efforts in producing the Chinese Edition of Circulation. He went on to express his gratitude for the dedication of the editorial division and the support of sponsors. At the end of his speech, Mr. Ge expressed his hope to enrich the future content of Circulation Chinese Edition. For example, case analysis could be added to supplement the existing material. Additional forums could be held in other cities by taking advantage of the existing Chinese Edition. More doctors could benefit from the in-depth analysis offered by the experts. This would help more of those doctors to learn the intricacies of cutting-edge information from around the world.

Mr. Ge summarized all the work done by the editorial board during the past year, and he said that he would assume the role of editor-in-chief for the fourth issue of the Chinese Edition. Moreover, he presented a detailed plan for the launch of the Chinese Edition’s new issue. The selection of articles to be translated will start as soon as possible, and tasks will be assigned to editorial board members based on their individual expertise. He expressed his hope that the new issue of the Chinese Edition could spread new academic ideas among cardiologists.

Professor Wang Jian’an gave a detailed introduction of articles in the third issue. Professor Wang is the editor-in-chief for the fourth issue of the Chinese Edition. Professor Wang also said that the third issue is rich and diverse in its content. The third issue contains many articles on different topics, areas, and types. These include literature review, clinical studies, and expert consensus, making it a valuable source of reference for academic peers. Professor Wang emphasized that good translation quality is vital for the Chinese Edition, so the translation for the third issue was under strict quality control. However, professor Wang also stressed the importance of working to publishing deadlines. It took nearly four months to publish the third issue of the Chinese Edition due to translation delays. He understood that it was not easy for experts with busy clinical work schedules to sacrifice their spare time for document translation and proofreading, but he hoped that they could bear in mind their mission and meet the publishing deadlines as members of the editorial board.
