Prof. Sangram Sisodia's Academic Visit to Green Valley Pharmaceuticals

During May 27th and 28th, Prof. Sangram Sisodia, Director of Center for Molecular Neurobiology of Neurobiology Department, The University of Chicago and a leading expert on molecular and cell biology of Alzheimer's disease pathology, visited Green Valley Pharmaceuticals in Shanghai. During his academic visit, Prof. Meiyu Geng, key inventor of GV-971 and Principle Investigator of Shanghai Institute of MateriaMedica, Chinese Academy of Sciences and Songtao Lv, Chairman and CEO of Shanghai Green Valley Pharmaceuticals had a robust discussion with Prof. SangramSisodia.

At the meeting, Dr. Geng introduced recent research data on gut microbiome and Green Valley’s future research plans and Mr. Lv shared company vision and strategic business priorities. Dr. Sangram Sisodia spoke highly of the research in gut microbiome and expressed his wishes to accelerate potential collaborations on gut microbiome study by leveraging advantages of each side in the near future.

Dr. Sangram Sisodia also delivered a lecture with the subject of “Molecular Pathogenesis of Alzheimer’s Disease: Role of the Microbiome” at Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica Chinese Academy of Sciences and had a tour at Green Valley Research Institute.
